Yoga provides you with the opportunity to nourish your mind, body and spirit. In this class you hone your body through movement and poses, and learn to watch and control your mind to be more present and conscious in all that you do. All of this is done with special awareness of the breath and is based on a 5,000 year old tradition where purpose is given to each movement. You will leave class feeling refreshed, relaxed and whole from the benefits of increasing muscle tone and mental clarity. - Mat Pilates 1 – This mat class is based on the theory of “contrology” by Joseph Pilates. In this class we focus on breath, length, strength, control and precision. Pilates goes beyond muscle and bone to emphasize controlled breath and circulation, as well as creating patterns in how to use your muscles so you don’t wear them down. This class is beneficial for dancers as well as anyone wishing to increase their strength, flexibility and symmetry.
- Zumba – Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements to combine cardio and muscle-toning benefits.
