Summer Session will begin the Week of June 19th! Our Summer Session is a 5-Week Session beginning the week of June 19th-July 28th (No Class the week of July 3rd)
Our summer dance classes and camps in Greeley and Windsor are rapidly approaching and we’re sure you are already making plans for vacations and summer activities. Hopefully you intend to include some of our dance classes and camps in those summer plans! A Dance Place is offering a few summer dance classes and camps at our Greeley and Windsor locations. These Classes and Camps are a great way to try a new style of dance or perfect your existing technique! Drop In Classes. Can’t Commit to the whole summer? Register for just 1 class for $20!

Preschool Dance and Craft: This is for ages 2-6. This Class is an excellent introduction to a wide variety of dance! Dancers can come to any or our themed classes and enjoy a themed dance class and craft! Come on an adventure with our unicorn friends to find the colors of the rainbow or with our fairy friends to find the pixie dust, help the Cheetah find his spots or treasure hunt with the pirates for the treasure! Greeley Studio Tuesdays 9:30-11:00. Windsor Studio will be on Wednesdays from 9:30-11
JUST DANCE: This class is for 7-10 year olds. This Class is an excellent introduction to a wide variety of dance technique! Dancers can come to any or our themed classes and enjoy a themed dance class and craft! Enjoy our Hoedown throw-down, beach party, and carnival themed days! Tuesdays in Greeley from 11:30-1:00 and Wednesdays in Windsor from 11:30-1:00.
SHAPES AND MOVEMENT: This class is for ages 7 & up. As dancers, we are so used to having an instructor tell us how to move and when down to every single 8 count. This class is designed to help students find their own movement and learn how to create. In this class, dancers will learn different improv techniques, they will learn how to take the dance technique they have already learned and create their own movement. Dancers will also learn how to problem solve and transition through movement as well as learn some choreography techniques.
LEAPS AND TURNS: This class is for ages 7 & up. This class will focus on improving technical skills for leaps, jumps, and turns. We will work on flexibility and conditioning with a more intense focus on body alignment, centering, and extension that will improve overall balance and core strength, and ultimately overall technique.
DANCE EXPERIENCE: For ages 11 & up. This class is an excellent introduction into a variety of styles of dance technique! Come and experience technique in ballet, lyrical, jazz and hip hop! Dive a little into each form of dance for a fun overall dance experience.

Wendy Sosa
Wendy Sosa has been involved with dance for over 40 years. She grew up in New Hampshire and danced for most of her adolescent years in Boston. She started her training at the Nashua School of Dance and continued it at The Boston Ballet. She toured for two years with Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theater of Boston. Wendy has been teaching since the age of 15 when she began her own summer dance workshop. She earned her Performance and Teaching Certification with the Hartford School of Ballet and her BA from the University of Northern Colorado. Wendy successfully completed Royal Academy of Dance examinations Primary through Intermediate. Along with RAD she has studied several other styles of ballet including Vaganova and some basic Cecchetti. She has had the distinct honor of performing in three original Balanchine ballet including Stars and Stripes, Serenade and Western Symphonies. Some of her lead roles include lead Spanish, Snow Queen and Dew Drop in the Nutcracker and Pigtail Girl in Graduation Ball. She has studied under several renown dance teachers including Arthur Leeth & Laura Young (Boston Ballet), Kirk Peterson (Hartford Ballet), Peggy Lyman (from the Martha Graham Company), Robert Barnet (Atlanta Ballet), Elina Mooney and Cliff Keuter to name a few. She is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Colorado Dance Collective (CDC) in Greeley. They are a nonprofit, adult repertoire company in Northern Colorado. She also serves as a board member for the CDC. Wendy teaches classes under her “Miss Wendy” moniker at the Greeley Warehouse in tandem with leading the Ballet Company portion of the CDC. Wendy has had the pleasure of not only training dancers but many other types of athletes and artists. She welcomes students from the local college’s musical theater program to polish their dance skills and helps graduating high school seniors prep for dance team or pro team auditions. She has consulted on routines for gymnasts, ice skaters and baton twirlers. With so many wonderful studios in the surrounding area Miss Wendy has found her niche! Teaching and prepping older, adult dancers to move into the next stage of their careers is where she seems to shine.

Rosero is known for his versatility in all styles of dance shown in commercials for Shoe Dazzle Shoe Carnival ,Volkswagen, Target, Sprint and Playtex as well as music videos and stage shows for Keke Palmer, Toni Braxton. Collaborating with Production to enhance the overall visual quality of any movement oriented project is one of Rosero’s many strengths. Rosero Also had the honor of working with the First Lady, Michelle Obama, on several occasions as a part of her Healthy Living campaign.
